About BK Flooring Services

Gerardo Soto, Founder, has been in the flooring business since the ’90s. Henry Altamirano, his late brother-in-law, introduced him to the industry. Gerardo studied the trade under Henry for a number of years until he was able to master it on his own. Gerardo received his first set of equipment from Henry in 1998 to help him get started independently. Seeing how hardwood flooring could enhance the beauty of any home, Gerardo and Jacqueline Soto fell in love with the hardwood flooring business. They established their own hardwood flooring business in 2000. As with many small businesses, there are many trials and tribulations that can get in the way. In 2009, a horrific accident that claimed the life of Gerardo’s mother and nearly claimed his too took the family by storm and severely impacted all the efforts they had worked so hard to build. However, with great faith, strength, and courage, Gerardo made a full recovery and returned to the path to fulfilling their dream.

In 2011, BK Flooring Services, Inc. was founded. Today, we are a family-owned and operated business that places the highest priority on customer satisfaction. BK Flooring Services is committed to providing customers with a positive experience while enhancing the beauty of all homes and commercial spaces with a flooring material that transcends generations without going out of style.
